How Irrigation Automation Helps Lettuce Growers Fix Uneven Watering, Shallow Roots, and Disease Risks
Roots stay in the top 6 to 8 inches, with no ability to pull from deeper reserves. Any gap in irrigation during rapid head growth causes immediate, irreversible size loss.
